Obituary

Patricia D'Ambrosio D'Amato, 73 of Bethany died peacefully at her home on Thursday, September 14, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of fifty two years to Peter D'Amato. Patricia was born in New Haven on January 23, 1944, a daughter of the late John and Gilda Percopo D'Ambrosio, and had resided in Bethany for the past forty years. Patricia's family wishes to express their special thanks to the caregivers of Hartford Healthcare House, Hospice Care for their loving and dedicated care bestowed upon their dearest wife and mother. Patricia is also survived by two daughters, Diane (John) Diana of Wallingford and Christine D'Amato of Bethany, one sister, Marie (Charles) Haggerty of North Haven, and two grandchildren, Rachael and John Diana, Jr. of Wallingford. She was predeceased by her brother, John D'Ambrosio. Patricia's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave form the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Ave., North Haven. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
