Obituary

Dorothy Charlotte Mackintosh Annatone, 95 of Hamden died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenic Annatone. Dorothy was born in Cambridge, MA on October 21, 1922, a daughter of the late Charles A. and Gertrude Ballou Mackintosh, and had resided in Hamden since 1957. She worked at both the former Federal Paper Board of New Haven, and for the State of CT., Dept. of Mental Retardation. Dorothy was a proud WWII Navy Veteran. She is survived by one daughter, Pamela (Allen) Beebe of Waterford, two sons, Ronald (Judy) Annatone of North Haven and David (Hollie) Annatone of Flemmington, NJ, and six grandchildren, Jackie, Gregory, Christine and Jason Annatone, and Michael and Conrad Beebe. She was predeceased by one brother, Robert Mackintosh. Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. Her funeral procession will leave from the funeral home on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 400 Ridge Rd., Hamden. Burial with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
