Antonia "Belen" Colón, 73 of New Haven died peacefully on Monday, July 25, 2016 at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Ms. Colón was born in Manatí, Puerto Rico on February 13, 1943, a daughter of the late Teofane and Felipa Baez Colón, and moved to New Haven in 1991. She is survived by her sister Lydia Colón of New Haven, brothers Mateo Colón of Puerto Rico and Wenceslao Colón of Indiana, nieces Lillian Marquez, and Beatris Romero, nephews Felix Marquez, Jr., Josué and Caleb Marquez all of New Haven, and many more extended family members in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Australia.

Ms. Colón's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal, M.A. (Pentecostal Church of God, M.A.), 99 East Pearl St., New Haven. A funeral service will take place at the church on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Centerville Cemetery, Hamden.
