Obituary

Alfred J. DiLeone, 84 of Hamden died peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 20, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Alfred was born in Hamden on September 5, 1932, a son of the late Antonio and Anna Raccuia DiLeone, and was a lifelong Hamden resident. He co-owned and operated the former Century Reproductions Co. of New Haven for twenty years, and later worked for the former Charette Art Supply Co. of New Haven for an additional ten years until his retirement. Alfred was a life member and treasurer for the Indian Neck Yacht Club, and was a proud Korean War Navy Veteran. He is survived by one daughter, Anne DiLeone, one son, Alfred J. DiLeone, Jr. and his wife Xi Chen, and one grandson, Julian DiLeone, all of Hamden. He was predeceased by by one brother, Angelo DiLeone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service with military honors that will take place on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Cemetery (Corner of Whitney Ave. and Evergreen Ave.) Hamden.
