Obituary for Lucresia Manzano

Lucresia Manzano, 84 of North Haven died peacefully at Yale-New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late José A. Antunez. Lucresia was born in Santa Barbara, Honduras on November 23, 1934, a daughter of the late Antonio Guzman and the late Felipa Manzano. She came to the U.S. in 1994 and had resided in Bridgeport for fourteen years before moving to North Haven one and one half years ago. Lucresia is survived by two sons, José Antunez and his wife Georgina of Meriden and Carols Antunez and his wife Mirna of North Haven, two sisters, Doris and Marugenia Guzman of San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and four grandchildren, Carlos, Merari, Elizabeth and Marlon Antunez. Lucresia's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 14th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, December 15th at 10:00 a.m., the Reverend Mark Reyes officiating.
