Orlando Nuñez, 49 of West Haven died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side. Orlando was born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico on March 30, 1969 a son of Maria Delourdes Santos Calva of West Haven and the late Virgilio Nuñez and had resided in New Haven for the past thirty six years. He is also survived by his step-father, Francisco Calva of West Haven, two daughters, Aracelis and Dayanara Nuñez of New Haven, one sister, Jenny Nuñez of West Haven, three brothers, Luís Arnaldo Nuñez of New Haven, and Ferdinand and Billy Joel Nuñez of Deltona, FL, his loving finacé, Brenda DeJesus of New Haven, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Orlando's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, November 28th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
