Cecil "Zeke" Eugene King, 86 of Mystic, formerly of Milford, Bethany and Goodlettsville, TN died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Colleen Jagrosse King. Zeke was born in Racine, WV on November 23, 1931, a son of the late Ernest and Dollie Meadows King. He had resided in Mystic since 2013, and had previously lived in Bethany for seventeen years and Goodlettsville, TN for sixteen years. Zeke was a machine operator at the former Armstrong Rubber Co. of West Haven for many years. He also worked at Peterbuilt Motors in Madison, TN for thirteen years, retiring in 1996, and was a proud Korean War Veteran. He is survived by a daughter, Robin (Milan Bozanic) Stewart of Mystic, a son, Raymond Stewart of Bethany, one brother, Bobby Lee (Barbara) King of Racine, four grandchildren, Sara Esposito, Joseph Esposito, Raymond Stewart, III and Michael Kinder, and two great grandchildren, Olivia Esposito and Mary Jane Littlejohn. He was predeceased by his son, Charles Esposito, and a brother, Paul King. Zeke's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, August 14th from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven. His funeral procession will leave from the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. in St. Therese Church, 555 Middletown Ave., North Haven. Burial with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. www.washingtonmemorialfh.com
